​Identification of insects​​

A free insect identification service (full identification for common pests and identification to family level for others) is provided. Students or the public in general can call at the Entomology Division with their specimen during working hours for the identification. Information on the behaviour and ecology of the insect can also be obtained.​

Furthermore, there is a reference collection of more than 5000 insects in the insect museum at the division’s premise Réduit. Interested person can request for a visit by calling at the office.​
