Analyses: pH, electrical conductivity, major nutrients and micro-elements (Calcium, Magnesium, Copper, Zinc, Iron), Cation exchange Capacity (CEC), Exchangeable. bases, Ammonia Nitrogen (NH4–N), Sulphte (SO4) - Sulphur (S) and organic carbon.
Feed and Fodder Analysis Section
Analysis of fodder, animal feeds and pet foods.
Analyses: crude Protein, crude fibre, crude fat, ash, dry matter, phosphorus and calcium. Acid Detergent Fibre, Acid Detergent Lignin, Neutral Detergent Fibre, Copper, Iron, Magnesium.
Plant Analysis Section
Analysis of plant tissues for major nutrients and micro-elements.
Analyses: nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, copper, iron, manganese, sulphur and zinc.
Crop and Water (Irrigation) Section
Analysis of fruits, Water (suitability for irrigation).
Analyses: nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulphate, nitrate, °Brix, pH, electrical conductivity, acidity and chloride.
Pesticide Residue Analysis Section
Monitoring of pesticides (insecticides) residues in locally produced vegetables and fruits from Market Basket Survey.
Detection of aflatoxins in feeds.
